Romantic Summer Engagement Session in Ames, Iowa

Halle and Blake’s summer engagement session in Ames was the most perfect night to get to know one another before their wedding day and capture some beautiful images!

We met up at one of my favorite parks and got to explore along with their cute puppy. June will always be my favorite month of the year for photos. Everything is so lush and green, it’s not too hot yet, and it stays light so late! It was a perfect night to enjoy McFarland Park in Ames, and we even visited one of their favorite places for more variety in their photos – an antique store! We stopped by Antiques Iowa in Story City and it could not have been a cuter spot. Halle and Blake love going antique shopping together, so we figured why not incorporate that into their session!
